Communist Bathrooms and Corn

China is the next Superpower?

An associate of the M.O.D took this photo of her hotel bathroom when she was in Shaoguan, Gangdong Province:

It doesn’t take a whole lot of imagination to figure out how this is supposed to work.

Things looked up a tad when I received this next photo, and I commented, “Well at least they provide reading materiel,”

“Guess again,” replied the M.O.D.

In another email from the M.O.D.:
We ordered pizza hut to deliver last night, so I printed up a menu to look at. All their special pizzas had names, and there was one that just made me start laughing because of how ridiculous it was. It was called "American Adventure" and the toppings were Peperoni, beef, and corn. This is the American adventure I guess... they had other ones for other places, Tokyo, Itialian etc. but most had corn on them. They put corn on everything...seems like each time I come here, corn is going on more and more things. The other funny one was called like From the Farm, and it had corn, ham and crab sticks. You know, nothings better than those farm raised crabs.
He isn't joking. Click here for the Pizza Hut Hong Kong Menu.

Corn, and a manually flushed squat toilet. We are supposed to fear this country?
