Meet Tommy, The “Child-Man”

According to this puss-oozing carbuncle of a human being, I'm not an adult because I am over 25, unmarried, do not have a mortgage, like to play video games, and have yet to father any children.

I am going to treat this…article…that was published on Sunday by the Dallas Morning News like something from a 9/11 TRUTH!1!! site, and give a point by point rebuttal.

It's 1965, and you're a 26-year-old white guy [why I gotta be white?-ed]. You have a factory job, or maybe you work for an insurance broker. Either way, you're married, probably have been for a few years now; you met your wife in high school, where she was in your sister's class. You've already got one kid, with another on the way. For now, you're renting an apartment in your parents' two-family house, but you're saving up for a three-bedroom ranch house in the next town. Yup, you're an adult!

Now meet the 21st-century you, also 26[am I still white?-ed]. You've finished college and work in a cubicle in a large Chicago financial-services firm. You live in an apartment with a few single guy friends. In your spare time, you play basketball with your buddies, download the latest indie songs from iTunes, have some fun with the Xbox 360, take a leisurely shower, massage some product into your hair and face – and then it's off to bars and parties, where you meet, and often bed, girls of widely varied hues and sizes. Wife? Kids? House? Are you kidding?

Ah, so apparently no men went to college until the year 2000, but hey. Nobody I know downloads "indie" songs from iTunes. We steal popular music from P2P sites, and if we want any "indie" music that is not available on P2P, it can usually be downloaded for free else where because if they (obscure indie musicians) had any talent, they would have already signed with a label. Also, nobody I know over the age of 19 spends any appreciable amount of time playing basketball or any other team sport. However, I do know a dude that puts some mousse in his hair sometimes.

Bars and parties are boring, even when I have the chance of "gettin' laid." Most of my friends feel this way. I almost never "bed" one of these women I meet, because of the health issues, and well frankly, spending a great deal of time chasing "ass" is a pointless endeavor. It’s more challenging, and much more fun, to resist a slobbering advance from a “liberated” woman throwing herself at you, leaving her self-conscious and crying in your dust, as you drive home to play Dawn of War online.

Not so long ago, the average mid-twentysomething had achieved most of adulthood's milestones – high school degree, financial independence, marriage and children. These days, he lingers – happily – in a new hybrid state of semi-hormonal adolescence and responsible self-reliance. Decades in unfolding, this limbo may not seem like news to many, but in fact it is to the early 21st century what adolescence was to the early 20th: a momentous sociological development of profound economic and cultural import.

How is or was an average 25-year-old high school graduate with a wife and two kids “financially independent?”

It's time to state what is now obvious to legions of frustrated young women: The limbo doesn't bring out the best in young men.

With women, you could argue that adulthood is in fact emergent. Single women in their 20s and early 30s are joining an international New Girl Order, hyper-achieving in both school and an increasingly female-friendly workplace, while packing leisure hours with shopping, traveling and dining with friends. Single young males, or SYMs, by contrast, often seem to hang out in a playground of drinking, hooking up, playing Halo 3 and, in many cases, underachieving. With them, adulthood looks as though it's receding.

So childless, hedonistic, irresponsible women in their 20’s and 30’s are “emergent adults.” Men are sex-crazed, fist-knocking children. I see.

Freud famously asked: "What do women want?" Notice that he didn't ask what men wanted – perhaps he thought he'd figured that one out. But that's a question that ad people, media execs and cultural entrepreneurs have pondered a lot in recent years. They're particularly interested in single young men, for two reasons: There are a lot more of them than before, and they tend to have some extra change.

Consider: In 1970, 69 percent of 25-year-old and 85 percent of 30-year-old white men were married; in 2000, only 33 percent and 58 percent were, respectively. And the percentage of young guys tying the knot is declining as you read this. Census Bureau data show that the median age of marriage among men rose from 26.8 in 2000 to 27.5 in 2006 – a dramatic demographic shift for such a short time period.

That adds up to tens of millions more young men blissfully free of mortgages, wives and child-care bills. Historically, marketers have found this group an "elusive audience" – the phrase is permanently affixed to "men between 18 and 34" in adspeak – largely immune to the pleasures of magazines and television, as well as to shopping expeditions for the products advertised there.

Yes, I am “blissfully free” of the costs of a marriage, mortgage, and children. This is because AT THE PRESENT TIME I DO NOT EARN THE MONEY TO PROVIDE A WIFE AND CHILDREN WITH A LIFE THAT I WOULD WANT FOR THEM.

I guess this makes me an irresponsible, beer-guzzling, skirt-chasing Neanderthal.

A signal cultural moment came in April 1997, when Maxim, a popular British "lad magazine," hit American shores. Maxim plastered covers and features with pouty-lipped, tousled-haired pinups in lacy underwear and, in case that didn't do the trick, block-lettered promises of sex! lust! naughty! And it worked.

What really set Maxim apart from other men's mags was its voice. It was the sound of guys hanging around the Animal House living room. Maxim asked the SYM what he wanted and learned that he didn't want to grow up. And now the Maxim child-man voice has gone mainstream. You're that 26-year-old who wants sophomoric fun and macho action? Now the culture has a groaning table of entertainment with your name on it.

***cough*** COSMO ***cough***

That sound you hear is women not laughing. Oh, some women get a kick out of child-men and their frat/fart jokes. But for many, the child-man is either an irritating mystery or a source of heartbreak. In contemporary female writing and conversation, the words "immature" and "men" seem united in perpetuity.

That other sound you hear is the silence of the male 1000-yard-stare, when men look in to the setting sun, and realize that putting up with a scented-candle swilling, rain-dancing, money-grubbing, manipulative, materialistic, pseudo-prostitute is not worth his emotional and financial independence.

I can't go on. This op-ed is so hopelessly ignorant that even my youngest neglected lust-child could write my rebuttal. Too bad her mother and I didn't get along. She was always cheating on me, and I would get scolded by her when I got mad because I didn't "understand how independent she was." I started seeing another woman, and she filed for divorce. But I digress.

I'm a "man-child," huh? Well, while I'm at work, this "man-child" holds the lives of thousands of people in his hands, and my decisions can mean the difference between somebody loosing everything and going to prison, or being vindicated and having their lives restored.

When a single mother calls me crying about how she is about to go to jail and her kids will go to foster care, asking me to do something for her, even after she has lied to me and the police... and I have to make the call to either unleash the hounds and send her up the river, or allow her to try to repent...

I ask you Ms Hymowitz: Do you still want to call me a "child" because I haven't "knocked-up" a girl or found the woman I want to marry yet? Fuck you. I have to come home every day and think about the people and their families who's lives I may have just ruined, and YOU, a sycohantic kook academic wants to pass judgment on ME, because I am responsible enough to control my sex-drive?!

Liberalism is a mental disorder.

Meet The Next President of the United States

This is my prediction for the Presidential election.

On the Democrat side, I think Hussein Obama will get the nod, barring some giant as-yet-unrevealed skeleton in his closet. While Hitlery has a titanic political machine behind her, there is too much baggage, and too much history that will turn off centrist voters. Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton.

Obama is exactly the opposite, and has the political momentum.

He was virtually unknown to Americans outside of Illinois until last year. He has a fascinating background, and he is defiantly the best orator of all the candidates.

On the Republican side, I think Romney will demolish McCain in the coming months. Mitt "looks" like a President, and has moved his platform more to the right on the key conservative issues such as Islamic terrorists and illegal immigration. McCain is more forthright and less "slick," has a very impressive military service record, and most of all is unrepentant when it comes to the bills he introduces and supports. However, the conservative base will rally around Romney over McCain given the choice between the two, because McCain is viewed (correctly) as a Liberal when it comes to domestic policy and his admitted ignorance on fiscal policy.

Click here to see who will be the most powerful man in the world this time next year.

I know a winner when I see one.

I was in the middle of writing an endorsement of Obama last year when Fred Thompson came in to the picture. Well the glue-horse went tits up, so now I am back to Obama. I have made no secret of my like for Ron Paul, but that's just not going to happen.

The fact is that only 20% of the voters decide who is going to win a Presidential Election-the independents. Right now, Barak Hussein Obama is pulling more independents and cross-party voters (I have heard many, many Republicans say they plan to vote for him) than any other candidate.

Will I vote for him? Probably, unless The Lord intervenes and somehow Ron Paul gets the nod. This is why:
1. The perception of being an effective leader is as important to Americans as actually being one.
2. Obama's ascension would be a uniting event. This would silence the left-wing MSM and the race-baiting "Reverends," whom make millions of dollars telling the American public how we are racist and backward country.
3. Phased withdrawal from Iraq. There is no reason why the we could not train and equip an Iraqi force sufficient to deter an Iranian invasion with a few billion dollars and 1 year of training. Where is the Iraqi oil money going, BTW?
4. Obama's election will almost instantly restore much of our international credibility.
Yeah, if the Democrats remain in power in the House and Senate after Obama is elected, we are going to have to eat some Liberal legislation. But I say we give the man a chance. If he can stabilize the Dollar, monetarily de-fang China, and implement an equitable solution to the illegal immigration problem, (I have to say, the produce sucks this Winter, and if this was caused by the recent mass-deporting of the Mexican pickers;bring um' back!) then we are on the road to recovery. Especially if he is willing to give up the powers that Bush gave to The Office by executive order.

I am a bit concerned about how Barak is being compared to MLK, JFK, Lincoln, and Gandhi, however. Considering how these people ended their careers, whom Obama chooses as his VP may be important.

British Man Plotted to Behead Muslim!!1!one!!!

(VIA LGF)
LEICESTER (Reuters) - A man has pleaded guilty to a plot to kidnap and kill a Muslim soldier in the British army by cutting off his head "like a pig", a court was told on Tuesday.

Parviz Khan, 37, pleaded guilty this month to a series of charges including the beheading plot, which was foiled by police and the MI5 security service a year ago.

Media had been barred from reporting Khan's plea until Tuesday when a trial of two other men opened in the central English city of Leicester.

A British and Pakistani passport holder, Khan was "a man who has the most violent and extreme Islamist views" and who wanted to get physically involved in acts of terrorism, prosecutor Nigel Rumfitt said.
As Charles pointed out, the bruise on this guys forehead is often seen on very devout Muslims. It is caused by grinding their foreheads on the floor while praying to Allah.

Global Warming Acolyte Freezes To Death

Upon the Holy Alter of Algore, she gave her soul to thee.
"She definitely must have had an issue with the utilities. Unfortunately, it didn't do any good," Huffman said. According to LaPorte County Police, officers responded to the home at 5553 W. County Road 1000 North after friends and family were unable to contact her the past several days.

Some of the windows inside the residence were iced over and the water in the toilet was frozen solid, police said. Investigators discovered the pilot light on her furance was burning.

However, the thermostat was turned off.

Several electric space heaters were in the home but all of them were either shut off or unplugged.

Huffman ruled hypothermia as the cause of death from exposure to the bitter cold inside the ranch-style residence. According to investigators, her family said she had the money to pay her winter heating costs and, occasionally, used her stove as a heat source to save money.

CNN Hits Bottom, Digs

This is the kind of insightful and responsible journalism that made CNN what it is today.

Gender or race: Black women voters face tough choices in S.C.

CHARLESTON, South Carolina (CNN) -- At Anjay's Salon in Charleston, the only thing louder than the hair dryer is the chorus of political opinions.

On this day, owner Angela Jackson is outnumbered. She is the only one supporting Sen. Hillary Clinton over Sen. Barack Obama in South Carolina's Democratic primary Saturday.

"When you apply for a job, they ask you, do you have experience? They hire you based on experience. Hillary's been in office how long?" Jackson asks.

Customer Carol Singleton responds, "For me, Hillary, yes, she was a wife of a president, but she was not a president, so she doesn't earn credit for more experience than Obama. To me they're equal."

Stylist Shanese Jones says, "I just feel like it's his time. I think he's ready."

While three say they're undecided, the rest of the women in the salon say they plan to vote for Obama.

Analysts say black women this year never have been more engaged in a political campaign or held such power in determining the Democratic nominee.

Recent polls show black women are expected to make up more than a third of all Democratic voters in South Carolina's primary in five days.

For these women, a unique, and most unexpected dilemma, presents itself: Should they vote their race, or should they vote their gender?

Artist In Hiding After "Gay Mohammad" Exhibit Pulled In The Netherlands

This Iranian exile hottie has big brass-ones:

(Site)

Looks like we have another Ayaan Hirsi Ali in the making here.

If there is a more liberal country in Europe, or for that matter in the entire world (this is the problem in my opinion, but that's for another post,) than the Netherlands, I have never heard of it. But once again, here is a story about a person having to go in to hiding because European Muslim fanatics are looking to murder an artist that "insulted Islam."
She may not get much support from the politicians, who seem determined to avoid confrontation even if some accuse them of turning a blind eye to the erosion of artistic freedom. When Hera wrote to Culture Minister Ronald Plasterk asking for his support, he agreed to meet her but would not help reinstate her photographs in the exhibition.

Deputy Prime Minister Wouter Bos seemed to take a stand for freedom of speech, saying: "In a democracy, we do not recognise the right not to be insulted." The left-wing de Volkskrant newspaper, by contrast, praised the museum for its "great professionalism" in excising the images[Of course-ed].

For her part, Hera, who fled Iran seven years ago, says she has no regrets, particularly when she thinks about the young men and women being hanged there for offending the country's code of sexuality. "I do it for them," she says, "for the boys and girls with no freedom in Iran."

Belarus: 3 Years Hard-Labor For Printing Mohammad Cartoons

This is pretty strange. A newspaper editor was convicted of "inciting religious hatred" after reprinting the infamous Mohammad Cartoons, and sent to the Gulag for three years.
MINSK, Belarus - A Belarus court sentenced a newspaper editor Friday to three years in prison for reprinting a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad that sparked worldwide riots when it was initially published in a Danish newspaper.

In Vienna, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe protested the sentence and called for the release of Alexander Sdvizhkov, the former deputy editor of the small-circulation Zhoda newspaper.

Security officers in Belarus launched an investigation of Sdvizhkov in February 2006 when he published the caricatures which had originally appeared in the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten.

Fiery protests swept across Muslim countries in early 2006 in reaction to the Danish publication.

President Alexander Lukashenko ordered the paper shut the following month, calling the publication of the cartoon "a provocation against the state." Sdvizhkov was arrested and charged with "inciting religious hatred" in November 2007 when he returned to Belarus following several months of living in Russia and Ukraine.
Belarus is ruled my a world-class jackass, but they have an extremely small Muslim population, and a very devout Orthodox majority. Lukashenko undoubtedly has some other beef with the editor. We are talking about a guy that admitted that his elections were rigged, compared himself to Hitler, was quoted saying that anybody joining an opposition protest would be labeled a terrorist, and they (the ruling party) would "...wring their necks, as one might a duck".

Clinton Wins Nevada!

Eh, no she didn't. I don't know if this is bias or more sloppy reporting by the AP, but Clinton won Nevada like Gore beat Bush in the 2000 Presidential Election.
WASHINGTON - Democrats Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama split the spoils in the Nevada caucuses in a race marred by late charges of dirty politics. Republicans John McCain and Mike Huckabee looked to South Carolina's nomination contest to offset rival Mitt Romney's win in Nevada.

Clinton captured the popular vote Saturday, but Obama edged her out for national convention delegates at stake, taking 13 to her 12.

Muslim Imam Killed During Failed Kidnapping Attempt By Radical Christians

Ah, silly me. I had that backwards!
Zamboanga City, Philippines - A Roman Catholic priest was killed in a botched kidnapping by suspected al-Qaeda-linked Muslim militants in the southern Philippines, the military said Wednesday. Father Rey Roda, director of a Catholic school in Tabawan town in Tawi-Tawi province, 1,100 kilometres south of Manila, was praying inside a chapel when 10 gunmen barged in and grabbed him.

Major Eugene Batara, a regional military spokesman, said the kidnappers, suspected to be Abu Sayyaf rebels, dragged Roda out of the chapel but the priest resisted.

"The priest was killed on the spot," he said.

Batara said the kidnappers fled with one hostage, a teacher at the Notre Dame High School.

A military report said the gunmen were believed to be members of the Abu Sayyaf group, which has been plotting to kidnap Roda, other priests and teachers at Notre Dame.

"Earlier information prior to the incident showed that this kidnapping would be undertaken by the Abu Sayyaf," the report said.

The Abu Sayyaf has been blamed for some of the worst terrorist attacks in the Philippines, including high-profile kidnap-for-ransom incidents involving foreign hostages.

NYC Mayor Bloomberg Photographed Eating Cheeze-Its

This headline would make no sense it were not for Bloomberg's infamous crusade against the evils of trans-fat, which the Heath Department claims kills 0.000625% of New York City's population every year. Instead of paragraphs of my poorly-written commentary, read the article (via Michelle Malkin)
The mayor's food choice directly counters the guidance of his own Department of Health, which specifies on its Web site that "there is no safe level of artificial trans fat consumption." The site also points out that trans fats are responsible for at least 500 deaths in the city every year from heart disease.

That should be cautious news for Bloomberg, who in 2000 had a pair of stents inserted in his coronary artery to remove a blockage. The mayor says he takes a baby aspirin daily to reduce the risk of heart attack.

"The mayor is in favor of labeling and making informed choices," said Bloomberg spokesman Jason Post, who also pointed out that a reduced-fat version of Cheez-Its contains less trans fat. It's unclear which variety sits on the mayor's desk in the photograph.

"Trans fats cause heart attacks," said Julie Greenstein, deputy director of health promotion policy for the Center for Science in the Public Interest, a Washington, D.C., lobbying group that advocated the ban in the city. "Trans fats raise bad cholesterol and decrease good cholesterol."

Greenstein said even small amounts of trans fats in the diet can add up and cause big problems over time.

"If someone is concerned about heart health, he should cut out trans fat completely," she said.

Dragonlance Movie

Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight the animated direct to DVD movie will be released on Tuesday the 15th. This has been in production for years and I remember speculation about this movie as far back as the late 90's. Here is the trailer:

They were able to get top-notch voice talent (Kiefer Sutherland as Raistlin is brilliant casting, IMO) and the authors of the novel had a big hand in the production, according to the official site.

One thing I don't like is the He-Man style (I don't know what it's really called) animation they used. Granted they probably didn't have the budget for a slick CGI production, but I was hoping for something a bit... darker I suppose. If you have read the book, you know that this isn't a Disney fairy-tale. The movie got a PG-13 rating, which would be right if they made an adaption true to the novel. I also feel that they made a serious error by not casting Alizee in some roll. Maybe she can be Kitiara or Alhana Starbreeze in the next movie, if they make one.

I would really like to see a live-action adaption made. Back in the day, me and the MoD would sit around drinking and "casting" the movie. I always thought that Michael Wincott would have made an excellent Raistlin.

I hope they didn't fuck it up. I will post a review with screen shots after I check it out.

Ron Paul Answers Charges Of Racism

I tend to believe him here. He has stated nothing in his speeches over the last 20+ years that would indicate that he is a racist.

As a fellow libertarian, I have to say that our views are easily taken as racist because we do not believe in Social Justice, Entitlements, Affirmative Action, Collective Guilt, etc.

Libertarians really ARE the least racist people in the political spectrum because we believe that all people are born equal, and have basic fundamental rights upon birth, regardless of the wealth or station of the parents.

Yes, some people have a social and/or economic advantage depending on where they are born, and whom their parents were, but that is no more the child's fault when born in to the Kennedy family for instance, than another child born to the Watson family in the worst part of the poorest "hood."

This is such a complex issue that it can be debated till the end of Human existence, with no two people agreeing completely on how things like this should be handled. But I do not believe that I should be financially punished by liberal Robin Hood Economics or denied a job or a college education at the school of my choice, over a less or equally qualified minority, because I am Caucasian (these have both happened to me), and because 170 years ago the Africans in the American South were slaves (that nine of my ancestors died freeing, two receiving the Medal of Honor, BTW).

January 7th Tornado Outbreak

As a confirmed weather nerd, I have to say I don't remember an outbreak of this magnitude happening in Northwest Oklahoma, Central Missouri, or Illinois in January, especially the first week of January. As of this post, there is a solid line of tornado warnings from Tulsa, OK to Jefferson City, MO, with a few further Northeast in to Southwest Illinois:

(National Weather Service)

There have been 31 tornado reports as of 10:34pm Central Time, with at least 1 injury. (Update: AP is now reporting 1 death and several injuries)

According to the Storm Prediction Center, the tornado threat will last for several more hours.

The storm system causing this "weird" weather is the same the hammered the Pacific Northwest a few days ago. Usually these Winter severe weather outbreaks happen in the Southeast, but the strong La Nina this season has pushed the jet stream far enough North, and the timing was right today, that the Midwest received the brunt.

I'm sure that your intent was to show that you're a good mother and have a nurturing soul, and has nothing to do with the fact that you spent your 20's mostly on your back being taken advantage of by guy-after-guy, only to wind up a single mother trying desperately to find a chump that is willing to throw his social and financial life away for a monthly roll in the hay with you, and embrace the illusion of responsibility.

I'm being judgemental again. Let's see the profile:

Heh. I'm pretty sure that posting a profile on a dating site is not the best way to look for platonic friends.

Well, maybe Tigger is the girl for me:

*shrug*

Overselling Extraordinaire

I have been known to watch pro-wrestling on occasion, and one of the funniest things that can happen is when a wrestler "oversells," or exaggerates the effects when an opponent performs a move, usually in protest because management scripts them to loose a match as part of the story-line vs. an opponent they hate in real-life.

Kudos to the guy that put "Yakety Sax" to this video of an overselling Shawn Michaels and a very pissed Hulk Hogan at "WWE Summerslam" in 2005:

Hilarious promo for this match:

British Blogger To Be Arrested For Criticizing Islam-In Britain!

Some of my friends wonder why I come down so hard on Islam and it's metastasizing presence in Europe. Well my friends, it's because of shit like this.

This fellow blogger faces arrest by the Thought Police for "stirring up religious hatred." I read the law that covers this "crime," and it's extremely vague. Sufficed to say that this would be unconstitutional in the United States for several reasons. And since Muslims in Europe take to the streets in violent protests whenever a European tosses some litter in front of a Mosque, and having a law that so broadly defines "stirring up religious hatred..." Well, the slope becomes very slippery, very quickly.

The blog where I read this story (via LGF) has a link to a WSJ op-ed piece that sheds some light on the overall situation in Britain:
For Muslim voters in Europe, the attractions of the Socialists are several. Socialists have traditionally taken a more accommodating approach to immigrants and asylum-seekers than their conservative rivals. They have championed the welfare state and the benefits it offers poor newcomers. They have promoted a multiculturalist ethos, which in practice has meant respecting Muslim traditions even when they conflict with Western values. In foreign policy, Socialists have often been anti-American and, by extension, hostile to Israel. That hostility has only increased as Muslim candidates have joined the Socialists' electoral slates and as the Muslim vote has become ever more crucial to the Socialists' electoral margin.

Some Questions

Why is it that women complain when men leave the toilet seat up, but men don’t complain when women leave it down?

Why do women complain about men that only want one thing, but men don’t complain about women that want everything?

Why do women have the choice between abortion, adoption, dropping an unwanted baby off at a hospital, raising the child with a father, or raising the child without a father, but the only choice men have is to agree?

Why do women dress in makeup, short skirts, bare midriffs, and low-cut blouses but complain about men that stare at them?

Why do we pretend that men are the ones that abuse children when it is a well-known fact that women abuse children more than men?

If single mothers have it so bad, why do women initiate about eighty percent of divorces and routinely commit perjury to win custody?

Why do we have a Violence Against Women Act but nothing for men when women cause domestic violence just as often as men?

Why is it funny when a woman kicks a man in the groin but terrible if a man did the same to a woman - won't the man be in more pain?

Why is it terrible for a woman to be raped once but funny when male prisoners get raped over and over?

Why is a man a wimp if he lets his wife beat up on him but a criminal if he defends himself?

Why does women’s health get much more attention when men die about seven years younger than women?

Why do we complain about legislators being mostly male when they always promote women’s rights and never promote men’s rights?

Why is it sexist to have clubs for only men but empowering to have them for only women?

If women only make 72 cents for the same work where a man earns a dollar, why don’t companies hire only women and put the competition out of business?

How do police know who to arrest when there is a domestic disturbance involving lesbians?

Why do married women complain that their husbands don’t want to change a baby’s diaper but divorced women say their ex-husbands can’t take care of a child?

Why do men that don’t pay child support go to prison but nothing ever happens to women that don’t allow visitation?

If women-in-the-military is such a good thing, why don’t they have to register for the draft?

Why are we so concerned about girls under-performing boys in math and science but not concerned about boys under-performing girls in everything else?

Why do fathers have to pay the mother to take his children away from him in divorce?

Why is it legal for women to lie to men about who the father of a baby is to get child support, but a crime if she tells the same lie to the government to get Social Security or military benefits?

Why do women have to prove they spent the money on the children when they collect welfare but don’t have to do the same when they collect child support?

Why do we have to cut men’s sports that have fans to create women’s sports that don’t?

Why do women tennis players win the same prize money as men when they only play three sets and men play five - isn't that equal pay for less work?

Why is it called sexual freedom when a married woman commits adultery but called cheating when a man does the same?

Why are female murderers presumed to be mentally ill but male murderers presumed to be killers?

Why are there thousands of “father’s rights” groups but no “mother’s rights” groups?

Why do we have so many fathers groups fighting for more time with their children when there are so many social problems attributed to fatherlessness?

Why do men have to support women at the same standard of living following divorce when women don’t even have to cook and clean his new apartment?

If divorced women have it worse than divorced men, why do divorced men commit suicide eight or ten times as much as divorced women?

Why do we pretend that men walk out on their wives and children when women initiate about eighty percent of divorces?

Why is it considered sexist to have a couple of television shows geared towards men when there are several channels catering only to women?

Why are television moms always portrayed as wonderful and loving and television dads always portrayed as inept buffoons?

Why is it politically incorrect to say anything negative about women but funny to put men down?

Why are women without a job considered to be exercising free choice but men without a job considered a bum?

Why do feminists demand that women be equally represented in high paying and powerful jobs but don’t complain when low-paying, dirty, and dangerous jobs remain mostly done by men?

Why do we have to say “Chairperson” and “Congressperson” but its ok to say “garbage man” and “bad guy”?

Why do we always hear the phrase “innocent women and children” but never hear about “innocent men” or “men and children”?

Why do news headlines use the terms “student”, “spouse”, or “parent” when a girl or woman, or mother does something wrong but use the terms “boy”, “husband”, or “father” when a boy, man, or father does something wrong?

Why do feminists demand equal results for traditionally male roles but object to equal or shared parenting after divorce?

Why does the term “angry mother” sound like someone that needs our help and support and the term “angry father” sound like someone that needs to be arrested and forced into anger management classes?

Why is it that when men are more successful than women it's because women are oppressed, but when women are more successful than men it's because men are lazy?

Why are only women free to criticize other women without being labeled anti-women, but both men and women are free to criticize men?

Why are feminists pushing for laws that prevent new laws from being passed that protect men from women, such as with domestic violence against men, false allegations by women, or paternity fraud?

Why is it that when a woman accuses a man of rape, the man's name is made public and he is presumed guilty, but when he is proven innocent the woman remains anonymous and the man is still ruined?

Why is it considered woman-hating or whining to point it out when women have something better than men, but we rush to pass new laws if men might have something better than women?

Why is it that we've had forty years and billions of dollars going into women's rights and men's responsibilities, but it's taboo in most circles to even suggest that maybe it's time to consider men's rights and women's responsibilities a little bit for a change?

If those who always side with women are feminists and those who always side with men are chauvinists, why don't we have a wing of a political party and billions in funding going to chauvinists when we have that for feminists?

For those who believe men had it better than women in the past and believe now it's time for women to have it better than men for a while, why don't they advocate whites being forced into slavery to blacks?

Why are men considered more privileged than women with so many double standards against men?

Just sayin..

Good News From France: New Years Eve Muslim Fire-Bombings down 7% From Last Year

"Relative calm"prevailed in France last night, as "vandals" fire-bombed a mere 372 cars.
Cars are burned fairly regularly in France and the image of vehicles in flames in poor suburbs became symbolic of riots in 2005 when angry youths set fire to thousands of cars.

There is usually an increase in the number of cars torched on New Year's Eve compared to other days of the year.

“The night was relatively calm, without notable incident, there were very few direct clashes with the security forces,” said a spokesman for the national police.

The Interior Ministry said 372 vehicles had been burned - 144 in the Paris region and 228 in the rest of France. That was down from 397 last New Year's Eve.

British Man Wrongfully Imprisoned For Three Years Billed $25,000 For "Room and Board"

No need to comment on how wrong this is:
A man wrongly jailed when a woman cried rape has failed to prevent being charged £12,500 for his "board and lodging" while in prison.

Warren Blackwell, 38, spent three years in jail as a convicted sex attacker until his 'victim' was unmasked as a fantasist.

It was revealed he has been awarded £252,500 compensation for his lost years - but minus the estimated cost of his food and accommodation while behind bars.

Mr Blackwell said he had failed to stop the money being siphoned off after his lawyer told him there was little to be done about it.

The father-of-two, said: "It's the principle of the thing. They slam you in jail for three years and four months, brand you a sex attacker, leave your family to cope without you, then turn around and say sorry but demand £12,500 for living expenses incurred during your time inside.

"I tried to fight against it but my solicitor says the only hope of overturning the decision would be to go all the way to the European Court of Human Rights. I would probably use up all the compensation money on legal fees if I did that."
