CAIR Says "Jump!" MSM Says "How High?"

It's been an interesting last couple days over at LGF. It all started with a post on Gateway Pundit about a St. Louis Mosque building a prayer tower, and this story was linked by LGF. Several users left some over the top comments on the Gateway and LGF posts that were subsequently deleted.

Just hours later, the unindicted co-conspirators in the Hamas Holy Land trail, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, issued a press release with the usual "hate-site" rhetoric that boarders precariously between nonsense and libel.

This morning, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and KMOV-TV, the local CBS affiliate, published the CAIR press release without doing any fact checking or attempting to contact Charles or Gateway Pundit for their side of the story.

Charles contacted the "journalist" who wrote the smear at the Dispatch, and demanded an explanation and retraction, to which Tim Townsend in essence replied, "fuck off."

It has since been revealed that Mr. Townsend is a "friend" of CAIR-St. Louis Board Member, Khaled Hamid.
