Filthy Hippies in Denver Plan Nude Protest, Orgy

According to the Fox affiliate in Denver, a group of hippies is planning a 60's-style protest when the Democrats hold their convention.

"From this point forward, Civic Center Park will be considered the property of the people, and it will thus be renamed Free City," said Glenn Spagnuolo, spokesman for Recreate 68, which is coordinating protest efforts with a variety of activist groups for the Democratic National Convention week.

"We're here today to formally reject societies and governments that celebrate greed and consumption," said Spagnuolo. "We reject a society that represses its own members and others and destroys its environment for profit.

"We reject a government that was built upon, and continues to commit, genocide. And we feel that both parties that are currently running this country are guilty of the continuation of these problems."

Heh. Hippies.

"Free City is also free of borders," said Zoe Williams, a member of a group called Colorado Street Medics. "We welcome all people as immigrants, largely, to this country to be a part of Free City."

Adam Jung, representing the group Tent State, added, "Free City is also going to free for political thought, free of commercialism, free of cages and prisons for political prisoners.

"And yes, one of the most fun ones, there will be free love - as long as it's consensual."

So If I show up and start passing out Michael Savage books, you guys will be perfectly fine with what I am doing, right? After all, your zone is for free political thought.

I bet I could get action from the drug-sodded hippie chicks who would try to 'convert' me, hehe.
