I really hate to keep harping on this one, but given the "Jena Six" issue, I think this is worth mentioning. According to Justice Department statistics... look I'm not a mathematician like Maddox, but I calculate this as: "A Caucasian is about 12X more likely to be the victim of a robbery or violent crime at the hands of an African-American, than visa-versa."
Read this, and correct me if I have grossly miscalculated.
(Please remember that blacks are about 15% of the population, and whites are about 65%)
I realize that this data is 5 years old, but things haven't changed that much.
