America, 2075

The way this country is divided right now, the kook fringe left is poised for a takeover. Will it happen? I hope not. The Democratic Party has been ransacked by the extreme left, and what may be coming will be America’s greatest challenge. There’s a good chance that the Dem’s will take over one or both houses of the Congress this coming election, and if that happens, the White House will basically be castrated. I’m not sure that’s a bad thing anymore, because after Bush was re-elected in 04’ he slammed on the breaks and cranked the wheel into the passing lane. Why? Who knows, probably pay-backs to major campaign contributors, I would guess. Bush was even supporting Condi’s pro-Hamas statements the other day! One of the few things the federal government is supposed to do is defend the boarders, yet he will do nothing. This border situation with Mexico really makes me mad. As Michael Savage put it,

“Clinton opened the door to Mexico; Bush took it off its hinges.”

Well maybe it is a bad thing if the Dem’s take over, because nothing will get done at all in the next two years. Nothing! Congress will harass the White House to no end with hearings and investigations, and Bush will veto any bill that comes through he doesn’t like. Jesus what a mess… I’m thinking about converting to Islam and starting my own Taliban here in Kansas.

Let’s say the left does take over and they even manage to get a President elected in 08’. I fear that the situation in the United States would degenerate within a decade to the current deplorable situation in Western Europe. If that trend were to continue, this is what a Political map of the United States would look like in 2075:

If you don’t agree with me that the kook fringe left took over the Democratic Party, just remember who their leaders were back in the 1930’s-1960’s. Can you imagine FDR or JFK putting up with any of this?

What’s my political affiliation? I don’t have one, but I do give money to the Libertarian Party, even if it seems most people join them because they want to legalize pot.

I don't know if you're still checking this blog for comments, but I happened to find your map in a Google search (looking for a map of Europe) and was intrigued so I read the accompanying post.

Well, the left did manage to get a President elected in '08 and again in '12, and it's been almost a decade since you wrote that. I don't think the US is in quite the shape Western Europe is in, but it very well might be the end of the next term, no matter who we elect.
